Spring Clean Your Property!
It’s that time of year again when the days become longer, the light gets brighter and the dirt can so easily be seen. For many of us, it’s a time to clean those hard to get at places where the dirt has accumulated over the winter, under the stairs, behind the cupboards and under the bed etc. But it’s also a good time to give the outside of your property a good spruce up.
Why spring clean the outside?
Over the winter falling leaves can accumulate in the gutters leading, potentially, to damp walls. Gutters, Fascias and Soffits can end up quite grimy after a cold wet winter. And, although the windows may have been receiving a regular clean, the frames can often benefit from a deeper clean. This was exactly what was needed by one customer on Barry Island, so Morgan and Eric of Cardiff Window Cleaner Ltd set to work.
What was included in the clean?
- Gutters were cleared out to remove any debris. Rubbish was sucked out, blockages were unblocked and pictures were taken to ensure that the job was done.
- Upvc rainwear, soffits and fascias were washed over with Razerwash to help remove the buildup of soiling.
- Some hand cleaning using UVC cleaner was required to remove stubborn staining to sills etc.
- Finally, the windows were given a really thorough wash with pure water to ensure that they had that sparkle factor.
- All was completed in half a day leaving one very satisfied customer.

- Rendered walls may appreciate a good clean, too. (Prices vary according to area and degree of soiling.)
- And, often, during winter, paths around the house have become green and slippery with algae. Spring is a good time to either treat them to kill the algae and, if needed add a pressure wash to complete the job.
